REUSABLE ORBITAL SMALL LIFT ROCKET

Gallon is a recoverable and reusable orbital class rocket designed to carry Small, Micro and Cubesatellites to LEO. The vehicle has multiple fairing options based on payload requirements and mission profile.

The Booster stage will perform a set of maneuvers while reentry and recover using partially guided parachutes, followed by a minimal maintainance turnaround time to return to the launch site.

Quick, Affordable access to space

Gallon is designed and manufactured by BAAS for the reliable and safe transport of payloads and cargo into Earth orbit.

Launch Complex 36

SHAR Launch Complex

Located at Sriharikota, the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC SHAR) serves as India’s primary satellite launch site, supporting a range of orbital and sub-orbital missions. First Launch Pad (FLP) and Second Launch Pad (SLP) are located at Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, within the Satish Dhawan Space Centre. Operational since 1971, it is India's primary satellite launch site and has facilitated numerous historic missions.

The complex supports launch vehicle integration, payload assembly, propellant loading, and mission control operations. FLP and SLP has been the site of landmark launches, including the first Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) mission and several GSLV missions that have placed satellites in orbit for both India and global customers. It stands as a cornerstone of India's space exploration program.

Gallon Flight Trajectory

Gallon will lift off. Following separation, the booster will descend to a recovery splashdown location, while the second stage will propell into space. After the fairing separates, payload will be safely delivered into orbit.
